About this tool

The print-sign-scan ritual wastes ten minutes and a sheet of paper to put thirty pixels of ink on a page. This tool replaces it: create your signature once, drag it onto the page, download. Leases, permission slips, engagement letters, delivery confirmations — anything that needs a visible signature, signed in under a minute.

Three ways to make the mark: draw with your mouse, finger or stylus on a smooth pressure-styled canvas; type your name and pick a script style; or upload a photo of your real ink signature (transparent PNGs look best). Placement is direct manipulation — the signature appears on the page preview and you drag it into position, resize it, add more placements, and optionally stamp the date underneath.

Be clear about what this is: a visible, drawn signature — the digital equivalent of ink, appropriate wherever you'd sign by hand. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with certificate verification. For everyday agreements between people who trust each other, ink-style is exactly what's expected; for notarized or certificate-validated workflows you'll need dedicated PKI software.

Frequently asked questions

Is a signature made this way legally valid?

In many jurisdictions (under laws like ESIGN in the US or eIDAS in the EU), an image-based signature can form a binding agreement, just as ink does. Validity depends on context and intent, not the pixels — for high-stakes documents, ask a lawyer.

Is my signature stored anywhere?

No. It exists only in your browser's memory during the session and inside the PDF you download. We never see your signature or your document.

Can I sign in multiple places?

Yes — place as many copies as you need, on any pages. Each placement is dragged and removed independently before you commit.

What's the best way to use my real handwritten signature?

Sign white paper with a dark pen, photograph it straight-on in good light, and upload it. A PNG with the background removed blends perfectly; a clean photo on white works nearly as well.
