About this tool
Plain text is universal but unpresentable — no pagination, fonts at the mercy of whoever opens it. This tool turns raw text into a clean, consistently typeset PDF: proper margins, even line spacing, automatic page breaks and a professional font, ready to print or send.
You get real typographic control: three classic font families (Helvetica for modern documents, Times for formal ones, Courier for code and logs), adjustable size and line spacing, and page sizes for both A4 and US Letter. Long lines wrap against actual font metrics, not guesswork, so the right margin stays clean.
It's ideal for meeting notes, license texts, server logs, typed letters and README files. The text is embedded as genuine PDF text — selectable, searchable and crisp at any zoom level.
Frequently asked questions
Which characters are supported?
The standard PDF fonts cover Latin scripts including Western European accents. Characters outside that range (CJK, Arabic, emoji) are replaced with a placeholder — a trade-off for keeping the tool fully offline with zero font downloads.
Can I convert a Markdown file?
You can upload a .md file, but it's typeset as plain text — formatting marks like ## and ** appear literally. Full Markdown rendering is on our roadmap.
How are page breaks decided?
Text flows line by line; when a line would cross the bottom margin, a new page starts automatically. There's no limit on page count.
Is the text searchable in the result?
Yes. The output contains real text, not images — you can select, copy and search it in any PDF viewer.
